Already a 2025 Grammys winner after she took home Best R&B Song for “Saturn” during the evening’s pre-show, SZA quietly arrived at tonight’s ceremony ready to celebrate. Though she skipped the red carpet, she was spotted in the venue dressed in a dreamy, baby pink dress with silver sequins. Her hair was dyed cherry red.

The “Snooze” artist already earned three Grammy wins in 2024: Best Progressive R&B Album for SOS, Best R&B Song for “Snooze,” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Ghost in the Machine” with Phoebe Bridgers. (Tonight’s award marks SZA’s second consecutive Best R&B Song win.) Later this evening, she’ll take the stage as a presenter alongside fellow musicians including Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Cardi B, and more.

After Lizzo presented her with the award for Best R&B Song in 2024, SZA gave an exuberant, emotional speech. “I’m sorry, I’m just really overwhelmed,” she said, holding back tears. “You don’t really understand. I came really, really far, and I can’t believe this is happening, and it feels very fake.”

As the artist has expressed in her music as well in interviews, she considers herself “just, dead-ass, a person,” she told ELLE in 2023. “Some people think that, like, me having anxiety or me being shy or struggling with self-esteem is an act...Everybody else has feelings and fears. Why wouldn’t I be scared to be famous? Would you be scared to be famous? Because I’m famous, I’m not allowed to be scared? I wasn’t born famous. I had regular quiet-ass parents from a small town like everybody else. And I guess at some point I’m supposed to acclimate to all of this?”
