Fresh off of her FireAid benefit concert performance, Billie Eilish made her first red carpet appearance of 2025 in a black-and-white ensemble at the Grammys. The singer, who is up for seven Grammys tonight, opted to wear a tailored Prada jacket as she posed alongside her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas.
Eilish is nominated in three of the biggest categories of the night: Record of the Year (“Birds of a Feather”), Album of the Year (Hit Me Hard and Soft), and Song of the Year (“Birds of a Feather”). Additionally, Eilish has nods in Best Pop Solo Performance (“Birds of a Feather”), Best Pop Vocal Album (Hit Me Hard and Soft), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Guess” with Charli XCX), and Best Dance Pop Recording (“L’Amour de Ma Vie [Over Now Extended Edit]”).
Eilish expressed her shock and gratitude when the nomination list came out in November, saying, “Seven noms :’) crazy. thank you so much @recordingacademy.”
She spoke Vanity Fair in October about her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Charli, saying they “did this collab in the greatest way possible.”
Eilish is currently on a break from her Hit Me Hard and Soft World Tour, which will pick back up in Australia on February 18.
Eilish told Vanity Fair that she changed the way she approaches touring, as it “used to be something that was extremely unpleasant, and I would dread it, and I would only dread it,” she said. “The only reason I did it at all is because I love performing, and even when I dreaded those tours and hated the whole process, I loved performing at the end of the day.”
She realized she had power over what that experience looked like: “I had this moment a year or two ago—a year ago, I think—where I was like, Touring doesn’t have to be miserable,” she said. “I’m the fucking boss. Let’s figure out all the ways to make this fun because this is my job and my life.”
She did just that. “I’ve created a surrounding that is just, like, joyous and filled with laughter and love,” she revealed. “And for the first time in my life, the words are coming out of my mouth: I wish this tour would never end!”
