It’s been two years since Justin and Hailey Bieber graced the Grammys with their presence. Unsurprisingly, the new parents opted to skip the ceremony tonight. Justin has no nominations nor is he performing, giving them no pressing reason to be there. Additionally, they have a 5-month-old son at home.
Next year’s show might be a different story, as Justin has been teasing that he has new music coming.
On January 23, a source spoke to People about the Biebers’ relationship in 2025 and Justin’s renewed interest in singing. “They have a great family life, but also enjoy and encourage each other to pursue their passions,” the insider said. “She loves that he’s into music again. She loves his creative and artistic side. He [keeps] creating with friends.”
The source added that “[it’s] quite sad that there are constant split rumors [about them]. Anyone who spends a lot of time with them can tell how in love they are and also how super focused they are on their marriage. They are both very mature for their age and so in it together. It’s [a] very special marriage.”
Hailey addressed the commentary about their marriage in a July 2024 interview with W magazine. “People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one,” she said. “‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy. I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”
