This weekend, Timothée Chalamet attended the Palm Springs International Film Awards to receive the Chairman Award, given for his performance in A Complete Unknown. The actor plays musical icon Bob Dylan in the biopic. On the red carpet, he was asked by Entertainment Tonight about girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who was reportedly there to support him at the event.
The reporter questioned, “You have a lot of supporters in here, I know you also brought your partner in crime, Kylie, here, too. What’s it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?”
Chalamet managed to respond elegantly and without getting very specific about Jenner or their relationship.
“It’s a great feeling to be in a room with so much love and so many great peers, and people that are fantastic,” he replied. “I like seeing the new wave and the new generation here...I also like seeing everyone who’s been holding it down [for] decades plus.”
Though he was not quick to talk about her on camera, the actor reportedly spent the holidays with The Kardashians star and her two children, Stormi and Aire. A source told Page Six, “They had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights,” according to the insider. “The kids had a really magical time, and Kylie and Timothée made some very special memories together.”
They were not together on Christmas day, but “they made sure to celebrate beforehand and even exchanged some gifts.”
The source added, “Timothée not only got Kylie gifts, but also got some for the kids, which Kylie thought was so sweet and thoughtful...Kylie and Timothée are both going to be with their families for Christmas, but they’re going to stay connected despite being apart.”
The source also referred to how their relationship has progressed since they were first linked in 2023.
“When they first started dating last year, things between them were on and off because it was fairly new, and they both had very busy schedules,” the insider continued. “Plus, Timothée was away in New York filming the Bob Dylan biopic shortly after they started dating, which made it challenging to maintain their relationship.”
Things have really progressed since then, the insider stated.
“Kylie and Timothée are constantly in communication even when they’re apart,” said the source. “Their relationship is stronger than ever, and they deeply care for one another,” explaining that the couple “has a very close connection and love each other very much...They’re enjoying keeping things out of the spotlight as much as possible for the time being, especially since so much of their lives are in the public eye. They like having this aspect of it to themselves for now.”
