Ariana Grande has been doing the press circuit all weekend long, wearing a Louis Vuitton bubble dress and vintage Chanel midi dress in Palm Springs, California, on Friday and Saturday. Tonight, the Wicked actress is in Los Angeles, capping off her mini fashion marathon with a pale-yellow Givenchy haute couture gown from 1966 at the 2025 Golden Globes. She accessorized with Swarovski jewels and had her hair styled in a ponytail.
The look purposely symbolized the yellow brick road from The Wizard of Oz. She posed with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo:
Grande is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for her role as Glinda.
She reflected on the honor in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “It just feels incredibly surreal,” she said. “It’s certainly not something that you expect. It’s just so surreal and I just feel so deeply grateful. We were just very immersed in the work and I was so grateful to have the chance to do the work and I was so excited to do the work every single day. From the lead-up to my first audition to the last day on set on both of the films, I was leading with deep gratitude every day. And we were doing our best, Cynthia [Erivo] and I both, just to stay present in the work with each other. And I just feel so proud and grateful as a friend, as a partner in this, with Cynthia and as a literal citizen of Oz, everyone poured their entire hearts into this and every single detail, every layer of it is felt. And I don’t know, I’m just so grateful. It’s hard to articulate.”
