For the first time since Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ended, the singer was seen out, giving children a special holiday surprise on the day before her 35th birthday. Swift spent Thursday at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend, is based in the city. He did not appear in any photos with her though, and it’s unclear whether he accompanied her for the visit.
Swift was photographed with patients and Jellybean, a hospital facility dog. The star wore a blue plaid Miu Miu set, consisting of a button up shirt and miniskirt. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin knee-high boots and sheer tights.
Later that day, the Billboard Music Awards played a pre-recorded video of Swift thanking fans for the 10 awards she won. She had on a black sweater and Effy Jewelry gold necklace that Marie Claire noted costs $10,995.

Swift has now received more Billboard Music Awards than any other artist. “Everything that has happened with the Eras Tour and The Tortured Poets Department, I just have to say thank you,” she told her fans. “It means the world to me that you guys have embraced the things that I have made and the fact that you’ve cared so much about my music. This is the nicest early birthday present you could’ve given me so thank you very much. I love it! This is exactly what I wanted.”
Swift has not shared how she plans to celebrate her birthday tonight. Us Weekly reported on December 3 that she will likely be in New York City to fête the milestone with friends. “She loves a quaint party with her closest friends,” the source said. “Taylor is excited about turning 35. She knows she’s accomplished so much.”
Kelce has an away game on Sunday, so he may not be able to join her birthday festivities if they’re out of town.
