Paparazzi got a very rare shot of Meghan Markle having lunch at Tre Lune in Montecito, California, over the weekend. The Duchess of Sussex was joined by actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley for the “low-key” outing where they flew under the radar.
As a source told People, “They had a lovely experience, chatting and laughing together. The pair was low-key and was left unbothered by the other guests.”
Sartorially, the duchess leaned into what appears to be her favorite trend: quiet luxury. Throughout the year, Meghan has been photographed in multiple quiet-luxury looks, including two during her trip to Nigeria with Prince Harry.
For her Montecito lunch look, Meghan wore a wide assortment of luxury designers, including Cartier, Dior, and Chanel. The duchess paired an Anine Bing white blouse with La Ligne jeans, Chanel ballet flats, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and a Dior bag. She wore jewelry pieces from Cartier, Ariel Gordon, and Lorraine Schwartz.
Meghan was last seen out at the 2024 ESPY Awards on July 11. She was there to support her husband, who won the Pat Tillman Award for Service. The honor recognized his work with the Invictus Games. Meghan wore a white Staud halter gown for the occasion, a dress now on sale for $217.
Meghan has kept a lower profile this year. However, she will be back in the spotlight soon, not only to launch her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, but also to star in a Netflix cooking series where she will celebrate “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship,” per Deadline. A source told The Daily Beast in early July that the series had wrapped filming: “It all went well, and it is in the can,” they said.
