All About Andrew Garfield’s Ex-Girlfriend, Dr. Kate Tomas

On March 29, Andrew Garfield was seen out with his girlfriend at the time, Dr. Kate Tomas, in Los Angeles, seemingly on a double date with friends Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham. The couple was photographed holding hands and embracing outside the Malibu eatery Zinqué.

In the photos, Tomas is wearing a black floral print wrap dress with purple loafers, and carrying a black purse over one arm. Garfield is wearing a black cap and gray shirt with black pants. They are smiling and laughing as they walk hand-in-hand.

Months later, they went to Wimbledon together, and Tomas spoke out about the public’s treatment of her since news of her and Garfield dating broke.

Dr. Tomas has a pretty thriving business as a spiritual reader and advisor. She reportedly holds two degrees from University of Oxford, a master’s degree in philosophy of religion and a doctorate in philosophical theology.

On her social media platforms, Dr. Tomas is very outspoken on social justice issues, and she describes herself as an “advisor to global leaders.”

Who else is Dr. Tomas romantically linked to?

Not much is known about her romantic past. Garfield was supposedly dating model Olivia Brower early in 2024, according to photos taken in London and published by The Sun. Before Brower, Garfield was dating model Alyssa Miller from 2021 to early 2022.

When is the last time they were seen together?

After the date in March, the couple were seen a few times in April enjoying London, first walking through Primrose Hill on Saturday, April 20. On the following Monday, they were spotted holding hands in central London.

What has Tomas said about their relationship?

Tomas has tried to keep her remarks limited. On July 21, 2024, The Sunday Times published an interview with her and noted on her podcast, The Friday Emails, she recently spoke about her “new relationship.” She said, “I’m in love, and I’m really happy.”

To the Times, she expressed her frustration that “no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man. I don’t want to sit under anybody’s shadow.”

She also spoke about the downside of tabloid attention, saying, “They [the paps] will take maybe 150 pictures, then they choose the four where you look worst.”

How did Tomas respond to claims she used “magic” to seduce Garfield?

The spiritual advisor spoke on her podcast, The Friday Emails, about the “horrific accusations that were leveled at me that I’d used magic to seduce my partner.” The Sunday Times noted her remarks in their July 21 story on her.

She explained that although she offers a master class on seduction, true seduction “is not about magic spells or manipulation. It has got nothing to do with how perfect their teeth are—thank you, Reddit [in reference to hateful comments there]—or whether they conform to conventional standards of beauty. People that are really attractive are full of charisma because they are authentically themselves and confidently anchored in that.” She shared similar intel in a June TikTok, as well.

How did Tomas announce her and Garfield‘s breakup?

In late August, rumors sparked that Garfield and Tomas may have broken up after a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed to see Garfield on dating app Raya. The couple had been last photographed together in mid-July.

On October 11, Dr. Thomas confirmed their split in an Instagram comment. A fan asked on her page, “Are you still dating Andrew Garfield? If so, tell him I’m a fan of him, please.”

She replied, “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved.”

On the same post, another Instagram user asked, “Will you ever stop talking about Andrew?”
