Taylor Swift made a very surprise appearance at the Golden Globes to present two awards on stage, including Best Song to Lady Gaga and A Star Is Born for "Shallow." Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn is also at the Golden Globes tonight, although he and Swift did not walk the carpet together. Swift wore a black Versace dress tonight with her hair up for the occasion:
While Swift has attended the after parties of Alwyn's movie premieres in the past, she has never been to such a high-profile event for him. And even at the premieres, she's never walked the carpet. Still, this is a big night for Alwyn, which may be part of why Swift came to the show. His film The Favourite has five nominations, including a full cast nomination for Best Movie - Musical or Comedy. Swift hasn't been to the Globes in the last couple years, although she did attend InStyle's after party for the award show in 2015 with her squad, including Lorde and Jaime King.
