Behind the Cover: She's the One

For this month's cover shoot, ELLE hit the beach for a little fun in the sun with Disney sensation Selena Gomez, who spent the day playing dress up with ELLE Creative Director Joe Zee. Joe Zee went for easy, yet youthful pieces to keep the star age-appropriate yet chic. To toughen up her playful personality, Joe Zee dressed the star in a metal chain dress and belt by Yves Saint Laurent. Gomez also loved the playfulness of the floral silk georgette dress by Prabal Gurung and couldn't stop gushing over the Balmain embroidered lambskin top that made the ELLE July cover. On set, Gomez was easy-going and really sweet—the Biebs is one lucky guy.
