The Vibe: Dreamy romantic waves

Get the Look: The key to the look at Dior were waves that looked natural, not
"mechanical" like a curling wand can make them look, said stylist Guido Palau.
After letter hair air dry, Palau separated hair into 8 to 10 sections, sprayed
with dry hair spray, and then twisted each section into a length of tissue (an
old school method) and curling it up close to the head. To set the twirled
shape, he then clamped each twisted section with a flat iron. He let it sit for
20 minutes, and then released the curls, brushing them out softly and setting
with more dry spray.

The Vibe: Shiny modern ponytail

Get the Look: Starting with damp hair, stylist Guido Palau used a fine tooth
comb to make a precise middle part. He applied gel to the top of the hair and
blowdried to set the hair tight and smooth next to the head, and then let the
length of the ponytail air dry with a little bit of wave. After tying the
ponytail at the nape of the neck and using hairspray on the top of the head, he
used an oil throughout to boost shine.

The Vibe: Tough sexuality

Get the Look: After washing, stylist Guido Palau center parted hair, added blowdry primer, and dried it while roughing it up a bit with his fingers. French colorist Josh Wood created brightly colored extensions in reds, yellows, and blues, which gave about 20 of the models "a touch of individuality," says Palau. "This is really what we're seeing on the street: girls using hair color as almost a type of cosmetic."

Get the Look: "Boyish femininity" was key to all the choppy, textured looks stylist Guido Palau created at Prada. Some models got new choppy signature bangs at Palau's shears, while most models hair was styled with center parts with the lengths made breezy and textured with a touch of curling iron and cream paste.

Get the Look: The runway's latest obsession with individuality hit a glamorous pitch on the Dolce and Gabbana runway. "[The runway models are] influencers, clients, models, and real people walking in the show," says stylist Guido Palau. "The hair is being 'Dolcified' for each person." The meant some had classic, feminine long waves, others had striking natural curls, and many sported pretty updos adorned with crowns and flowers. One of Palau's go-to stylers no matter what the style was a dry texture spray to help give hair a romantic, windblown effect.
