Julianne Hough
Julianne Hough’s bob was perfectly coiffed with loads of volume and body, thanks to the L’Oreal Airlight Pro and a handy round brush. Hairstylist Riawna Capri worked in thick sections to saturate the hair with the R+Co Blue Highest Volumizing Mousse before blow drying and fluffing the hair. Then, she pin curled it to let it set. Afterward, Capri brushed the curls out using Torino 901 Brush.
To ensure Hough’s makeup stayed put all night, makeup artist Afton Williams used RCMA Makeup, a red carpet favorite, to anchor the “Old Hollywood Glamorous” inspiration. “The look focuses on complexion: clean, classic, glowing and sculpted with a bold buffed red lip and loads of wispy lashes,” Williams said in a press release. Hough’s face was smoothed and mattified using the RCMA Original No Color Powder.

Selena Gomez
If there’s one person who does a side part bob well, it’s Selena Gomez. For the 2025 Oscars, hairstylist Renato Campora prepped Gomez’s hair using Joico Defy Damage shampoo, conditioner, and masque ahead of heat styling.
Campora went in with the Joico Heat Hero Glossing Thermal Protector to protect the hair before smoothing it with the Dyson Corrale Straightener. Gomez’s hair ends were bumped using a one-inch curling iron and quickly pinned to set them in place. The finishing touches included brushing the curls and spraying the Fast-Drying Finishing Spray.
