A Skin-First Foundation

Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation

Stretch Fluid Foundation

Pros

  • Adds a dewy glow

Cons

  • May not be suited for oily or acne-prone skin

Glossier’s Fluid Foundation is the big sister of their classic Perfecting Skin Tint, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite products from the line. Offering a creamy, skin-like finish with plenty of glow, this is the foundation for people who don’t think they like foundation. Even those who typically prefer fuller coverage products are obsessed with this version.

Shades: 32

Key ingredients: Squalane, glycerin, plankton extracts, shea butter

“Not to brag, but I was among the first to try out the Stretch Fluid Foundation when it launched. At the time, another foundation had me in a chokehold and I refused to use anything else. Glossier broke me from my monogamous relationship with foundations and once you try this formula, you will know why. It’s a water-based, gel-like formula, which helped prevent my makeup from getting cakey throughout the day. When you apply your makeup, your skin automatically starts to pull at the various formulas, attempting to extract the water to provide your skin with hydration. The more hydrating your skincare and makeup, the less you’ll see the effects of this process. I love this water-based formula—it seamlessly blended into my skin. An All-in-One Eye Cream

Glossier Full Orbit

Full Orbit

Pros

  • Multiple benefits

Cons

  • Can pill with other products

Real ones will remember that Glossier had an eye cream once, but this new launch knocks the 1.0 version out of the water. The formula is very lightweight, meaning it doesn’t clog pores around the eyes or cause your mascara to run throughout the day. No need to mess around with multiple products; this tube does it all: It de-puffs, hydrates, smooths, and brightens all in one.

Key ingredients: Glycerin, niacinamide, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid

“Most of the time, I skip the eye cream step in my skin care routine. But maybe it’s the winter air or getting a little bit older that’s been making me feel like these under-eyes are just not what they used to be. Looking exhausted everyday is not the 2024 aesthetic I want, and adding this eye cream into my morning and evening routine just makes my face look…better. Suffice to say, I’ll upgrade my lazy girl skin care routine if it means looking brighter and better rested throughout the week.” –Tatjana Freund, Hearst fashion and luxury commerce editor

A Watercolor Liquid Blush

Glossier Cloud Paint

Cloud Paint

Pros

  • Very easy to blend

Cons

  • Applicator makes it hard to control how much product comes out

Cloud Paint was one of Glossier’s first makeup launches and one of the springboards that created a demand for liquid blushes. It’s creamy, blendable, and adds a healthy glow to the cheeks that’s hard to overdo. Especially over other hydrating products, it really feels like you’re applying watercolor to your cheeks.

Key ingredients: Collagen

“I’m not normally a blush kind of gal, but Glossier’s Cloud Paint entirely changed that for me. When I’m looking to embrace the coquette aesthetic, I’ll swipe on Glossier’s Cloud paint in Puff for a pretty, natural-looking looking flush. It blends like butter and is easily buildable, so I can layer it to create slightly punchier looks, too.” —Sam Peters, Hearst fashion and luxury senior commerce editor

A Must-Have Scent

Glossier You Perfume

You Perfume

Pros

  • Highly rated

Cons

  • May need to reapply throughout the day

Even Glossier skeptics seem to accept that the brand’s You perfume is worthy of recognition. It’s fresh, a bit sweet, and was designed to smell like you at your best. Not to mention, the iconic thumbprint bottle is instantly recognizable on your vanity. Priced at $60, this is one of the best perfumes on the market for its cost.

“I thoroughly enjoy being a contrarian, so I detest the idea of having a signature scent—I don’t want to smell the same every day. I have a signature uniform (all black with chunky Dr. Martens) and a trademark hairstyle (long and curly), but fragrance is where I can channel my inner chemist and create sweet blends of spicy, sweet, and fruity notes to match my every mood. Glossier You is almost always the base of my scent pairings, thanks to its soft peppercorn opening and subtly sweet, skin-like dry down. I can’t quite describe exactly what I smell like, but a warm spicy floral scent is a good start.” —Nerisha Penrose, ELLE.com beauty commerce editor

A Luxury Candle

Glossier You Candle

You Candle

Pros

  • Beautiful scent and look

Cons

  • Some people felt that the scent was too intense

It’s no secret that Glossier’s fragrances are one of their bestselling products, and their candles are one of the best ways to experience their scents. The candles are beautiful home decor that looks great on every surface, and the scents are refreshing, calming, and long-lasting. Currently, Glossier offers three scent options, but Glossier You is a forever favorite.

“Over the years, Glossier You has become one of my comfort scents—the warm, slightly peppery fragrance always smells like being wrapped in a blanket taken straight out of the dryer. So when Glossier launched the candle version, I pounced. Thankfully, it smells just like the perfume and burns beautifully, and the scent isn’t so strong that it gives me a headache. Plus, just look at how chic and gorgeous the glass vessel is!” –Carol Lee, ELLE.com associate e-commerce writer

A Clean Girl Mascara

Glossier Lash Slick

Lash Slick

Pros

  • Doesn't flake off

Cons

  • Some people prefer a more dramatic look

Glossier’s attitude towards makeup has always been that your natural features should come first. As far as mascaras go, this one is very subtle. It elongates, coats, and separates lashes, but doesn’t clump them together or create insane amounts of volume. Instead, the end result is that your lashes simply look like they’re naturally long and curled.

Colors: Black, brown

“I have big eyes–like a bug, as one makeup artist told me–and surprisingly long lashes, which means that traditional mascaras turn me into a raccoon with just one swipe. I was hunting for something that made me look fluttery and soft, and not too made up, and Lash Slick was the obvious choice. I prefer the brown shade, but both give me that no-makeup look I always want. Bonus: It doesn’t flake off throughout the day, but it also washes off without you needing to scrub.” —Tatjana Freund

A Hydrating Cleanser

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

Milky Jelly Cleanser

Pros

  • Very gentle on the skin

Cons

  • Some reviewers prefer the older formula

Milky Jelly Cleanser was part of Glossier’s first launch, and has remained a mainstay in their collection of products. Not only is it a gentle, hydrating cleanser, but you can also use it as a makeup removing balm when applying it to dry skin. If you hate that post-cleanse feeling where your skin feels too tight, this version will never do that.

Key ingredients: Rose water, vitamin B5, glycerin

“My skin gets incredibly dry in the winter, meaning I adopt a more intensive skin care routine of multiple hydrating layers. I was recently introduced to Glossier’s milky cleanser and am currently enjoying it as a first step in my morning ritual. (At night, I use an AHA-based cleanser since I’m also prone to breakouts). The formula has a silky, gel-cream texture akin to a lightweight moisturizer. It is packed with tons of conditioning ingredients that help eliminate my dry patches and leave my skin feeling soothed and supple. It doesn’t clog my congestion-prone pores and even doubles as a gentle makeup remover!” —Sam Peters

An Instagram-Worthy Hand Cream

Glossier Hand Cream

Hand Cream

Pros

  • Hydrating yet lightweight

Cons

  • The container can get scuffed quickly

Glossier’s body collection is supremely underrated, but if one product should make its way into your cart, it should be their hand cream. Lightweight yet hydrating, this cream is subtly scented with the iconic Glossier You perfume. Not to mention, it’s also housed in beautiful, innovative packaging that’s easy to throw into your purse.

Key ingredients: Glycofilm, coconut extract, meadowfoam seed oil, glycerin

“I am a self-professed hand cream snob. I’ll settle for ugly packaging if it means I can get my perfect formula: thick enough to properly hydrate, but lightweight enough to not leave grease marks all over my computer keyboard. When I first tried Glossier’s Hand Cream, I finally got the best of both worlds: a formula I love, with packaging I actually want to display.” –Tatjana Freund

A Soft Matte Lip

Glossier G Suit Lipsticks

G Suit Lipsticks

Pros

  • Contains hydrating ingredients

Cons

  • Can settle into lip lines

Glossier is known for being all about dewy, soft-focused beauty, but they changed it up with this matte creme lipstick. It has that soft soufflé-like texture, and leaves behind a comfortable finish that’s never over-drying. If you want your lips to make a statement, this is the product from Glossier’s line that will get it done.

Key ingredients: Raspberry seed oil, shea butter

Shades: 9

The G Suit lipstick took three years to develop and branched off from the typical Glossier no makeup makeup look. With pops of color, including Jet, the blue-red lipstick I’m wearing, without the signature pink color of the lipstick case, you may not have initially guessed this was a Glossier product. The lipstick is a moveable matte, which means it does budge, but doesn’t quickly fade. It feels comfortable on your lips; the doe-shaped applicator makes it easy to line and apply. For days I want a pigmented look (as pictured), I fill in my lips; when I want more of a diffused look, I put a little in the middle and blot it out. This is one of Glossier’s best products.” –Danielle James

A Hydrating Primer

Glossier Futuredew

Futuredew

Pros

  • Adds a glow

Cons

  • May not be suited for oily skin

Like the name suggests, Futuredew was ahead of its time. Nowadays, we’re used to seeing TikTok influencers apply liquid highlighters as primers, but Glossier did it first. This ultra-hydrating oil serum creates a post-facial glow that is stunning on its own, but even better under makeup.

Key ingredients: Jojoba oil, rosehip oil, squalane

“When my skin became breakout-prone in the past two years–the result of post-Covid acne–I had to get rid of all my thick, heavy moisturizers, even though my thirsty skin fought back, hard. While I happily found some non-comedogenic hydrators, I missed that dewy glow that only shea butter can accomplish. That is until I remembered this product. I mean, look at this glow. It passes my esthetician’s ingredient checker, which means I can now happily slather this product on without worrying that it will cause a breakout.” —Tatjana Freund
