On Thursday, A$AP Rocky shared some thoughts on his relationship with pop star Rihanna, with whom he shares his two sons, RZA and Riot Rose. The rapper was speaking with Mystery Fashionist when he gushed about the Fenty Beauty founder.
“That’s my son—she my son,” Rocky said. “Birds of a feather, flock together. I’m gonna ride till wheels fall off like she do. That’s my dog, that’s my n***a, that’s my bitch, that’s my wife, that’s my everything.”
The two stars are not officially married. Rihanna has gushed frequently about her partner, most recently in the February cover story for Harper’s BAZAAR. In the interview, the ANTI singer shared that the “greatest thing” about Rocky is “seeing him be a dad.”
“His pureness. His charm. I’m annoyed because my songs sometimes just live for him more than they live for me,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Did you know who cooked you? Do you know who pushed you out?’ And they love him, but when I see it, oh, it’s the best.”
She also shared how Rocky helps her to stay present and grounded, even when they’re at their busiest, so she can relax and have fun.
“That’s a big thing for us and actually a really big thing for him,” Rihanna said. “He always reminds me, no matter how hard everything is that we’re dealing with in our life, in our careers and as parents, he’s like, ‘Remember when we were friends? Remember when we just used to have fun as friends?”
About her two sons, Rihanna gushed, “RZA is just an empath. He’s so magical. He loves music. He loves melody. He loves books. He loves water. Bath time, swimming, pool, beach, anything. And Riot, he’s just hilarious. When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream. Not in a crying way. He just wants to sing. And I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go!’ He’s my alarm in the morning! He’s not taking no for an answer from anyone. I don’t know where he came from, dude.”
